Mini Identity Event & release of RO-Chair Fritz Hansen

Creating a Mini- identity for a large summit/event ( Urban Living), with invitations and menucards. The event was hosted by Republic of Fritz Hansen in Copenhagen, and was focused on joining two separate happenings into one event: an architecture summit of two Copenhagen based architectural firms, and the release of designer Jaime Hayons chair. As no photos were allowed of either the chair or the people, the solution and outcome of the identity was to make it in vector graphic outlines – with reference to both the chair, the Copenhagen skyline and architecture, and Fritz Hansens' own identity.

Architecture summit + Furniture launch = Urban living.
Assignment: Create a mini-event identity with Invitations and menucards for the Urban Living-event hosted by Republic of Fritz Hansen.

Problem to solve: Key forcus for the company is the revelation of the new chair-design from designer Jaime Hayon, together with a summit focusing on architecture in Copenhagen.

Issues to adress: To show the design of the new chair visually in its completion is NOT allowed, nor is it possible to higlight any one specific case of architecture, i.e three focus areas of presentation to be made in one A5 (two architecture firms, one designer), so the theme includes both architecture and design.

Solution: use the typography as a design-element, thus presenting the three various names/parts, and
play on the reference of the design-line element of the company, paraphrasing those elements into a vector graphic of the city of the event and home of two companies (Copenhagen). Add a vectordrawing of the chair, only showing sections of the design. Background photo of a FH showroom wallpaper, to add texture, dimension and link to the furniture/indoor vs skyline and outdoor.
