Graphic design implementation, folioprints, text, visual signage and navigation for the exhibition " Smart Use of Energy" in Danish Design Centre. In September 2009, Danish Design Centre in house team in collaboration with The Danish Energy Association, Designit and Kollision launched the exhibition “Smart Use of Energy”.
The theme and focus was green transportation with highlights on the electric car, and sustainable energy consumption.
The graphic tone of voice and colourscheme plays on the idea of the clear bright contrasting colours in an electric cord, and linking visually to mobile toy car-tracks. Orange (DDCs identity colour) and turqoise coloured stips are used as graphic elements to indicate and nudge navigation/movement and interaction. A childish rounded form throughout, such as on numbers and arrows, indicated the playfulness of the car as a toy and underlines the transportations/movement into the exhibition.
